How do I add frequently used settings to the Quick Access Toolbar on macOS?
If you often use any settings on macOS and want to have quick access to them, use the following instruction.
1. Open “Finder”.
2. Select “Go” -> “Go to Folder”.
3. In the window that opens, in the search bar, enter /System/Library/PreferencePanes
.
four. Find the category of settings you need among the files with the extension “.prefPane”. For example, "DateandTime.prefPane".
5. Drag the file with the cursor to the right side of the quick access panel.
After that, the icon of a certain category of settings will appear on the panel. You can remove a parameter from quick access simply by dragging it with the cursor to any part of the screen.
