The problem affects the latest versions of Nginx.

Security expert Alice Esage Shevchenko reported the discovery of a vulnerability in the latest versions of the free web server Nginx. She [published the information] in her microblog on Twitter.

At the moment, technical details about the problem are unknown. The exact timing of disclosure is also not disclosed.

Recall that last year anumber of dangerous DoS vulnerabilities were [fixed] in Nginx.

Nginx is an HTTP and reverse proxy server, a mail proxy server, and a general-purpose TCP / UDP proxy server. For a long time, it has been servicing the servers of many high-loaded Russian sites, such as Yandex, Mail.Ru, VKontakte and Rambler. According to Netcraft statistics, nginx served or proxied 26.43% of the most loaded sites in May 2019.
