After months of development, Microsoft is finally rolling out the April 2019 Xbox Update, version 1904, for supported consoles. This new feature update is not as significant as previous releases, but it introduces some new features and improvements that should improve the overall experience.
Starting with version 1904, according to the company, delivers a new on-screen keyboard, and improvements have been made to make it easier to use the Xbox Game pass and manage your digital library, and more.

In the new version of the operating system, there’s a new mini virtual keyboard option that uses less space on the screen to streamline the typing experience. However, if you prefer, a bigger keyboard is still available from the Settings app.
When you press and hold the Xbox button to bring up the Power Center, you’ll notice a new option to restart the console. Instead of having to navigate within the System tab.

Beginning with the April 2019 Xbox Update, the console will now suggest titles that will free up enough space to install a new game when you’re running out space.
In addition, there’s a new “Drive Manager” page via Settings > System > Storage to manage your content and uninstall multiple titles at once.
The Xbox Media Remote is getting an update to change the action of the OneGuide button to launch any media app instead of the OneGuide.
Finally, as part of the Xbox Game Pass improvements, you will now be able to access quests progress from the dash and browse all quests from My Profile.
The April 2019 Xbox Update is available immediately, it’ll download and install automatically, but you can force the update from Settings > System > Updates > Update console, and tap the Start update button.
Alongside the new feature update, Microsoft also is taking preorders for the new disc-less Xbox One S All-Digital Edition at the Microsoft Store.
