Yes, the Chrome browser includes its own task manager, just like operating systems. It allows you to terminate resource-intensive processes for individual tabs and extensions.
You can open the panel by calling “Google Chrome settings and controls” > “Additional tools”> “Task Manager” or keyboard shortcut Shift + Esc
.
By default, 5 statistical categories are available, but additional ones can be added via the context menu. There are more than 20 of them in total.
Double-clicking on a tab opens the corresponding page of the site, and in the case of extensions, the settings page for the selected add-on.
