How to disable Windows Defender in Windows 10?
Windows Defender consumes a significant amount of computer resources. So if you have a weak PC, then you can turn it off in order to improve performance.
1. Enter the combination “Win + R”, then type “gpedit.msc” in the window “Run”.
2. Select “Program Configuration” -> “Administrative Templates” -> “Windows Components”
3. Double-tap on “Turn off Endpoint Protection”.
4. Click “Enabled” for this setting.
5. Double-click on “Allow the anti-malware service to run at all times”.
6. Click “Disabled” for this setting.
7. Open the section “Real-time protection”.
8. Double-click on “Turn off real-time protection”.
After that, Windows Protection Service stops functioning, you will be notified.
