As you install new programs on your Mac, the number of items on the right side of the menu bar will increase. Not only does it make you strain every time to find the right icon, but it also makes it difficult to keep the place in order.
With Hidden Bar you no longer have to look at those boring icons. This ultralight utility will help you improve your menu bar by completely hiding unnecessary icons.
After installing the program, a new tick icon will appear in the menu bar, which will hide the other indicators behind it. Press the “Cmd” key and drag unnecessary items to the left of this symbol.
In the settings of the utility you can enable automatic startup on login, activate the opening of settings at startup, and change the time after which the expanded icons in the menu bar will be hidden again. The source code of the project is available on GitHub.
