On Windows 11 build 25300, you can enable an early preview of the Presence Sensing settings page that includes new privacy settings to control how apps can determine whether you are near the device.
Presence Sensing refers to the features that can use the sensors that can help determine whether you are near the computer. The new page in the Settings app will allow controlling whether apps can access the sensors to detect your presence.
The settings page includes a “Presence settings access” option to control the feature globally. You can decide which apps that have access to presence sensing, and you can see the apps that recently requested access to the feature.
If you want to get hands-on with the new feature (via @PhantomOfEarth), you can use a third-party tool called “ViveTool” created by Rafael Rivera and Lucas on GitHub, to enable the option on your computer.

Enable new Presence Sensing settings on Windows 11
To enable the new Presence Sensing on Windows 11, use these steps:
Open GitHub website.
Download the ViveTool-vx.x.x.zip file to enable the Presence Sensing settings page.
Double-click the zip folder to open it with File Explorer.
Click the Extract all button.
Click the Extract button.
Copy the path to the folder.
Open Start.
Search for Command Prompt, right-click the top result, and select the Run as administrator option.
Type the following command to navigate to the ViveTool folder and press Enter:
cd c:folderpathViveTool-v0.x.x
In the command, remember to change the path to the folder with your path.
Type the following command to enable the new Presence Sensing settings and press Enter:
vivetool /enable /id:38612934
Restart the computer.
Once you complete the steps, the new “Presence Sensing” page will appear under the “Privacy & security” section in the Settings app.
If you change your mind, you can revert the changes with the same instructions, but on step 10, make sure to use these commands: vivetool /disable /id:38612934 and then restart the computer.
