There are several different ways you can insert a table into a Microsoft Word document. Some of them allow you to immediately better set up a table, while others speed up and simplify the creation process.
One of the easiest and least known ways to create a table is to use a string with a construction of “+” and “=” characters.
The pluses represent cell boundaries, and the equals represent their length. You can see an example of how to create a table in the image. After entering the characters, press ENTER to create the table.
To quickly and conveniently add new rows, move the mouse pointer to the last cell and press TAB. A new row will be created automatically.
