Heavy ads have a large weight and load the device’s processor quite heavily. To disable it in Google Chrome, follow the instructions below.

  1. Open the Chrome browser.
  2. in the search bar, type chrome://flags to open the experimental features menu.
  3. Find the Heavy Ad Intervention function and click on it.
  4. Click on Enabled to activate the option.
  5. Restart the browser.

This option is also available on operating systems such as Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, and Android.
