With the NFC support, the Mi Band 4 can be used for making payments through AliPay and WeChat Pay. It is also water resistant up to 5ATM (50 meters) and sports an upgraded 6-axis high-precision sensor to intelligently recognize different type of swimming strokes including Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly stroke, and Medley. It can also track 6 different sport modes like indoor running, outdoor running, exercise, swimming, cycling, and walking.

It also supports Xiao AI voice assistant which can be used for controlling Xiaomi’s IoT products. XiaoAi assistant comes up when you lift up the band, so lifting your wrist lets you play music, set the schedules. On top of that, you can even set all these to work with voice commands, so it’s pretty flexible. So, what about pricing? The device comes in two variants, a version with NFC that costs 229 yuan () and a variant without NFC for a more affordable 169 yuan (). On top of that, there’s also a Avengers Limited Edition that comes with unique coloured bands, a custom metal dial and a matching metal wrist buckle. It looks really cool, and it costs 349 yuan (). The first round of sales will begin on the 14th of June.
