Windows Command Prompt Input History
Imagine the situation that you are working in the Windows console. At some point, you need to execute a previously entered command, but you forgot it.
What to do in such a situation? Scroll through all the commands with an arrow? This can take a lot of extra time.
There is a more practical way – the function key F7. It displays a list of entered commands.
So you can visually find the required command and execute it by pressing the key Enter
.
