This week on 10Alert: Google finally begins the rollout of Android 7.0 Nougat to select devices. Itās a new update with overĀ 250 new feature and itās available for Nexus devices first, and then itās up to manufacturers to push out theĀ over-the-air (OTA) update. Sony, Samsung, and HTC are among the first companies preparing the releases Android Nougat to a select number of phones and tablets.

In addition, this week I added a number of helpful guides to get started with the new version of Googleās mobile operating system, including a walk through to useĀ multiple languages simultaneously on your Android device, and the steps to personalize your Google Keyboard with themes or colors on Nougat.

On Windows 10, servicing pack KB3176936Ā released for those usersĀ running the Release Preview version of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update with only stability improvements. Microsoft also rolled out cumulative update KB3176938Ā for PC and Mobile to the Slow and Release Preview rings with a slew of improvements and fixes for version 1607.
In addition, Microsoft made an early announcement of the new four free games Xbox owners will be getting in September 2016, as part of the Games with Gold program.
