One of the features of the Apple ecosystem is the Handoff feature set. With this feature, you can make and receive calls from your iPhone through your Mac or iPad.
To set up calls:
1. On your phone, open āSettingsā ā āGeneralā ā āAirPlay and Handoffā and enable the option āHandoffā.
2. In the menu āSettingsā ā āPhoneā ā āOn other devicesā activate the option āAllow callsā and mark the desired device in the list.
3. On MacOS, open āSystem Preferencesā ā āGeneralā and check āAllow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices.ā
four. In the āFaceTimeā app on your Mac, turn on the āCall from iPhone ā.
After these settings, you can both receive incoming calls and make calls directly from the computer. There are several ways to start a call from a Mac at once. You can call from the application āContactsā, āFaceTimeā and make a call directly from āSafariā, by highlighting the phone number on the site.
