One of the features of the Apple ecosystem is handoff feature set. With this feature, you can make and receive calls from your iPhone through your Mac or iPad.
To set up calls:
1. On your phone, open “Settings” → “General” → “AirPlay and Handoff” and enable the option “Handoff”.
2. In the menu “Settings” → “Phone” → “On other devices” activate the option “Allow calls” and check the required device in the list.
3. On MacOS, open “System Preferences” → “General” and check the box “Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices”.
4. In the “FaceTime” app on your Mac, turn on the “Call from iPhone” setting.
After these settings, you can both receive incoming calls and make calls directly from the computer. There are several ways to start a call from a Mac at once. You can call from “Contacts”, “FaceTime” and make a call directly from “Safari”,
highlighting the phone number on the site.
