Xbox Series X tech specs

Microsoft’s Xbox Series X represents the next generation of the game console, and it’ll (once again) the most powerful console in the market, as it packs amazing tech specs. Some of which includes, an 8-core AMD zen 2 processor running at 3.8GHz, AMD RDNA 2 graphics with 12 teraflops and 52 compute units clocked at 1.825GHz, 16GB of GDDR6 RAM, and custom PCIe 4.0 NVME 1TB Solid-State Drive (SSD).

With the hardware specifications available in the next generation, users can expect 4K graphics at 60 fps (frames per second) standard, but the Series X will be capable of up to 8K resolution at 120fps. In addition, the console will also support Ray Tracing which is a new technology that enables more realistic lighting changes dynamically inside the game. And yes, all your games from Xbox One, Xbox 360, and original Xbox will be backwards compatible with the Series X console.

The Xbox Series X will cost $499, and it’ll launch alongside the Xbox Series S on November 10, 2020. Preorders will begin on September 22 at the Microsoft Store.
