iOS 17 and macOS Sonoma now have an invisible but extremely convenient button
We are talking about manual autofill. It’s no secret that in some cases, an iPhone or MacBook does not offer to provide contact information or an account password. This happens due to incorrect web page markup or a glitch in the OS itself. The user had to go to contacts or a “keychain” to manually take information from there.
Now everything has become easier. Apple has added a new AutoFill option to the context menu. With it, you can trigger autocomplete in any text input field.
To find a new item on iPhone/iPad, hold the input line with your finger, and on Mac, right-click on it. Once you select AutoFill, you will see two options: Contact and Passwords. You can click the option you need and quickly select the necessary data from the list.
