Windows offers a variety of login options to ensure the security of your computer. One such option is the graphical password, which is a simple and visually appealing way to authenticate your login. This method is suitable for both devices with touch screens and desktop computers.
To enable the graphical password login option, open the “Settings” → “Accounts” → “Sign-in options” and add “Graphical password“.
If the graphical password option is not available in your settings, you can add it manually. To do this:
- Press “Win+R” and enter the command “gpedit.msc” to open the Local Group Policy Editor.
- Navigate to “Computer Configuration” → “Administrative Templates” → “System” → “Logon“.
- Open the “Turn off graphical password” parameter and set it to “Not Configured“.
With this option, you will be able to use an image to log in to your computer, rather than using a text-based password. This can make your login process more secure and more visually appealing. It’s a good idea to use a complex image that is easy to remember but hard to guess, such as a combination of shapes, colors, and characters.
