How to disable the lock screen Windows 10?
After the Windows 10 Universary Update, Microsoft removed the ability to disable the lock screen through the registry.
However, skilled developers found another way around the company’s limitations:
1. Follow the path “C:WindowsSystemApps”.
2. Find the folder “Microsoft.LockApp_cw5n1h2txyewy”.
3. Rename it. We recommend that you simply add a couple of characters at the end so as not to bother during recovery.
4. Confirm the action.
After that, you will see the lock screen only when you turn on the PC. In all other cases, the login screen will be displayed.
It is also worth remembering that after some updates, Windows may restore the renamed folder. In this case, it will need to be renamed again.
