How do I set sleep mode on macOS?
Sleep mode in macOS is an option to save battery power when you are not using your computer. To set the sleep mode, please follow the instructions below.
1. Click on the Apple logo in the upper left corner of the screen and select “System Preferences”.
2. Then click on the section “Energy Saving”.
3. In this section, move the slider “Turn off the display after” to the time you need.
The computer will enter sleep mode after the time specified on the slider only when the device is idle. You can also set additional options, such as “Place hard drives to sleep if possible”.
