Update to Internet Explorer breaks Lenovo laptops
Microsoft released an emergency patch last week KB44832229 to Internet Explorer. The cause was a discovered zero-day vulnerability.
As it turned out later, due to this update, some Lenovo laptops with less than 8 GB of RAM stopped starting.
Microsoft is now developing a patch on their own patch to fix this issue. However, affected Lenovo users are advised to do the following:
1. Reboot the system.
