Move the mouse cursor to active window element in Windows
Dialog box is a special window designed to enter information and receive a response from the user. When such a window is opened in Windows, one of its elements (most often a button) is in the active state.
For example, when you try to permanently delete a file, the button “Yes” is highlighted in blue. In the mouse settings, we can make sure that in such cases the cursor automatically moves to the active element of the window.
To do this:
1. Go to “Control Panel” (can be quickly found through the search).
2. Open the “Mouse” section.
3. Go to the “Pointer Options” tab.
4. In the field “Initial position in the dialog box” , check the box “On default button.”
5. Click “Apply” → “OK”. When opening a new dialog box, the cursor will automatically move to the active element.
