According to TrendForce analysts, the South Korean company Samsung plans to announce the first mid-range smartphone with a flexible screen next year.
Apparently, we are talking about the alleged Galaxy Z Flip6 FE clamshell with reduced characteristics. Analysts emphasized that Samsung will release this device in response to the future HUAWEI foldable smartphone, which may be presented in the near future.
Following TrendForce, an insider under the nickname Revegnus shared information in X that Samsung top managers are striving for a price ceiling of $500. At the same time, they are making every effort to ensure that a mid-class smartphone with a flexible screen costs half as much as the Galaxy Z Flip5, that is, from $400.
Most likely, the announcement of the Galaxy Z Flip6 FE will take place towards the end of 2024.
