We measure the speed of the Internet connection with one command in MacOS
When pages load slowly, the question immediately arises of checking the speed of the Internet. The connection can be checked with various special applications, network services and utilities.
There is a way to check the Internet speed with just one command in the terminal. To do this, you do not need to install anything additionally, everything you need is already in the system.
To check the speed of your Internet connection:
1. Open the application "Terminal" (you can find it through the search).
2. Enter the command "networkQuality" and press ENTER
(the command only works with MacOS 12 Monterey so far).
3. After testing, the terminal will show all the necessary information.
