A humanoid with the coolest hips was shown in Singapore. What can he do?
Fourier Intelligence has published video demonstrating the capabilities of its new GR-1 humanoid robots. Their main feature is an incredibly well-thought-out and high-tech hip joint.
Its torque is 300 Nm, thanks to which the robot can lift a load weighing up to 50 kg – and this despite the fact that the 1.65-meter humanoid itself weighs only 55 kg.
The GR-1 is intended primarily for the care of the elderly. For example, he is able to help an old lady get up from a bed or toilet, and a person can grab onto the large purple handle on the robot’s hips.
