How to block on iPhone unwanted sites for the child
In the latest versions of iOS, permission control for the child is based on the function “Screen Time”. It allows you to create rules for using the iPhone: define idle hours, set restrictions for applications and websites.
To set permissions:
1. Open “Settings”, go to “Screen Time” and click on the “Turn Screen Time” button.
2. Tap “Next”, then “This is my child’s iPhone.”
3. Define downtime (using your device during this period will require your permission) and set application usage limits if necessary.
4. Set a password to access “Screen Time”, then enter your Apple ID details, which will be required to recover the entered password.
5. Expand the section “Content and Privacy”, go to the menu “Restrictions content”, select “Web content” and activate option “No adult sites”.
At the last step you can also select the more restrictive “Allowed Websites” option. This feature will allow you to create a whitelist of pages on the Internet that your child can visit.
