How to clear update history Windows using the command line?
Microsoft releases updates for Windows 10 from time to time. A list of all updates, both installed and failed is displayed on the update history page. If you want to clear this list, then follow this instruction:
1. Press “Win + R” on your keyboard to open the run window “Run”.
2. Type “cmd” and press “OK”

3. In “Command Prompt” enter “net stop wuauserv” and “sc config wuauserv start=disabled”.
four. Next, enter the commands “net stop usosvc”
and “sc config usosvc start=disabled”.
5. Then enter a series of commands “DEL / F / S /Q / A %systemroot%SoftwareDistributionDataStoreLogsedb.log”,
“DEL /F /S /Q /A %ProgramData%USOPrivateUpdateStore*”,
“sc config wuauserv start=auto”, “net start wuauserv”.
6. Enter “sc config usosvc start=delayed-auto” and ” net start usosvc”.
5. Restart your computer by typing “net start wuauserv”.
After the reboot, the update history will be cleared.
