How to block a website in Mozilla Firefox?
Currently, the Firefox browser does not have built-in site blocking, but you can install an additional extension using the following instructions:
1. Launch the Firefox browser.
2. Open the browser menu.
3. Click on “Extras”.
4. In the search bar that appears, type “BlockSite” without quotes.
5. Click on the search button, the system will offer several options for plugins.
6. Select the plugin “BlockSite” and click on the button “Install”, located on the right.
7. Next, click on the item “Restart now”, which is located at the top of the plugin description.
8. After restarting the browser, a window will open in which select “Agree and continue”.
9. Open the menu again and click on “Extras”.
10. Click on “Extensions” and find the plugin “BlockSite”
eleven. To the right of it, click on “Settings”.
12. In the settings that open, check all the items on the first line and select “Blacklist” on the right.
13. Click on “Add”.
14. In the window that opens, in the paragraph “Location” enter the website address.
15. After that, the site will appear in the blacklist “Blacklist”.
16. Click “OK”.
The site will be blocked in your browser. Also in the blacklist you can add a description to the blocked site, in which you indicate, for example, the reason for blocking.
