Wikipedia website launched in 2001, and its design still leaves much to be desired. Sure, it’s a recognizable style that’s been with us for decades, but if you’re also tired of its old-fashioned style, here’s a way to tackle it.
Extension Modern Wiki updates the appearance of Wikipedia without limiting its functionality. The plugin updates the interface, making it modern and pleasing to the eye. Also allows you to choose a theme if you are used to working with other than the bright white version of sites.
Available for browsers: Chrome and Firefox. Just install the extension and go to the Wikipedia site: the excess of information will disappear, you will see a clean, neat design that will not distract you from the main thing – the content of the articles.
The search bar will also change, and the navigation menu can be hidden with a single button press. If you wish, you can quickly return to the old design by clicking on the application icon and deactivating it.
