TinkerTool – application , which opens access to hidden settings. With it, you can access options that are not available in MacOS and fine-tune the system.
Similar to Mac system settings, TinkerTool settings are divided into nine categories: Finder, Dock, Launchpad, General, Desktop, Programs, Fonts, Safari, iTunes, Restart.
Using it, you can activate the hidden features of the platform and some applications that come with it. The program can remove menu items from Finder, disable window shadows for screenshots, enable Dock-only dark theme, and more.
The tool ensures that settings changes can only affect current user. You don’t need administrator rights to use the tool. Most settings take effect after rebooting the OS, restarting applications, or re-logging into the user account.
