Like a game or program prohibit access to the Internet on Windows?
As a rule, more than a dozen different applications are installed on the average person’s computer. Each of them performs a specific function. You can set certain restrictions for all applications, including blocking access to the Internet.
To block an application from accessing the Internet:
1. Open the control panel (the easiest way to find it is through the search).
2. In the list of items, find the item “Windows Defender Firewall” (looks like a wall with a globe behind it).
3. Click “Advanced options”, then in the menu on the left “Rules for outgoing connection.”
4. In the menu on the right, tap “Create Rule”.
5. In the window that opens, go through all the points of creating a rule.
When creating a rule, select: “For the program” → path to the program → “Block connection” → leave all three profiles active → give the rule such a name at the end so that later you can identify it if necessary.
