It’s not so bad to lose Instagram and other social networks as to lose access to really important information (knowledge and facts). In order not to be unexpectedly left without encyclopedic knowledge, you can make your own backup of Wikipedia or another encyclopedic wiki site.
Kiwix is a program that will allow you to easily store a website on your mobile phone or computer. Literally a browser that does not need an Internet connection.
The program is available for all platforms, at the link you can download and install the application for any device. Once installed, select the content you want to download so you can use it even if your internet connection is down.
Available content contains Wikipedia, Wiktionary, TED talks etc. in more than 100 languages. Files can be large, so plan for free storage space. Kiwix is free and has no ads. The source code of the project is available on GitHub.
