When programs are in the autostart list, they run automatically when you start your operating system. This gives you faster access to all of their features.
To add a program to the autostart:
- Locate the executable file of the desired application. To do this, click the program shortcut on your desktop, select “Properties” → “Shortcut” tab → “File location”.
- In the folder that opens, locate the executable file of the program.
- click it with your mouse and click “Send” → “Desktop (create shortcut)”.
- Press the “Win+R” key combination.
- In the “Run” window, type the command “shell:startup”.
- 6. Move the previously created shortcut on the desktop to the autorun window that opens.
It is important to note that the created shortcut should be moved, not copied. Then the program will start automatically each time you start the system.
