How to write in Roman numerals in Microsoft Word?
Sometimes it is literally necessary to write down Roman numerals in a Word document. There is a tricky and convenient way to do this automatically and not translate numbers from one system to another on your own.
To add Roman numerals:
1. Open a Microsoft Word document and place the cursor where you want.
2. Press the key combination CTRL
+ F9.
3. In the curly braces that appear, write equals: {=}.
4. Then write down the number you want to convert to Roman notation: {=2022}
.
5 . Then set a slash, an asterisk and write ROMAN in English letters: {=2022*ROMAN}
.6. Press F9 to apply the formula.
The number will be automatically converted to Roman notation . If you specify roman in small letters in the formula, then the Roman letters of the resulting number will also be small. This method will also work in other programs from Microsoft, for example, in Power Point.
