How to make a mechanical sound keyboard if you have a membrane keyboard?
If you’re a fan of mechanical keyboard sounds and would like to experience them on your PC’s membrane keyboard, try Mechvibes. This is a free application that allows you to play mechanical keyboard sounds when you press the keys.
The interface of the application looks quite simple, with only a few options: a drop-down list with sound selection and a volume control slider. The default sound is set to 20.
Mechvibes supports the creation of custom sound sets with a choice of sounds for each key. Under the inscription “More sounds…” is a directory with links to other users’ sound sets.
You can also create your own sound pack in the section “Editor” and share them in peace. The program supports Windows, MacOS and Linux platforms. The source code of the project is available on GitHub.
