Microsoft asks users to opt out by Internet Explorer
Chris Jackson, Microsoft Senior Cybersecurity Expert, posted on the company blog an article titled “Risks of Using Internet Explorer”.
It says that the browser has not received updates for more than 4 years. Therefore, there is no confidence in its security.
But some corporate clients, business representatives, companies continue to use it as a full-fledged browser. In particular, this applies to the healthcare sector.
For this reason alone, it is still present in the standard Windows application package.
Microsoft emphasizes that they do not support new web standards for the browser, and most web developers no longer test their sites for support in IE.
Thus Thus, Microsoft advised to abandon Internet Explorer and use it simply to download other browsers.
