How to block a program from accessing the Internet on Windows?
If you need to block access to the Internet for any program, you can do it using standard Windows tools without resorting to installing third-party applications.
1. Open “Windows Firewall”. You can find it through the search.
2. Click “Advanced options” in the window that opens.
3. In the left row, select “Rules for outgoing connection”.
4. Click “Create Rule” in the right row.
5. Select “For Program”.
6. Click “Next”.
7. Specify the path to the EXE file of the program that needs to block the Internet.
8. Press again
“Next”.
9. Check the box on “Block the connection”.
10. If necessary, configure which networks will be affected by the new rule. Otherwise, click “Next”.
11. Give the rule a name and description that you can understand so that it is easier to find it in the future.
12. Press “Done”.
